Fans of Golden Road Brewing will be delighted to know that a new tap room/restaurant has opened with a waterfront view. It’s at Peter’s Landing in Sunset Beach which is being completely revitalized with a fresh look and new tenants which will eventually include another Social restaurant, a third location in addition its original in Costa Mesa and sister restaurant on Beach Boulevard in Huntington Beach. Here’s a first look at what Golden Road will add to the neighborhood.

Background: Founded in Los Angeles, Golden Road Brewing began to partner with Anheuser-Busch in 2015 to launch national distribution. The brewery opened its first location in Atwater Village and now has restaurants in Anaheim, Grand Central Market in Los Angeles, at LAX and in Sacramento. Golden Road worked with development team Pendulum Partners to bring the pub’s signature vibe to this spot.

The look: Golden Road enthusiasts will recognize the yellow and blue zig-zag on the exterior of the building. Step inside and check out this expansive space that’s just under 9,000-square-feet with a tap room, patio facing the marina with a view of the mountains, and a 300-square-foot brewery with big windows so  you can see beer being made. There’s seating for just under 300 which includes 75 on the patio. But it doesn’t feel crowded at all. “It’s simple, modern, clean and uncluttered,” says Adam Levoe, Director of Restaurant Operations.
